TL:DR

Born & raised in Michigan, I got my B.S. in Advertising & Public Relations from Grand Valley State University. After graduation I headed to  sunnier pastures in San Diego, doing brand development for women's footwear and wore many hats.  After a few years of that life, I moved to LA and oversaw production & development for a portfolio of women's accessory brands. I simultaneously attended graduate school and I received my Masters in Design. Upon graduation I was promoted to the design department and assisted in launching the handbag division where I designed handbag lines for Gwen Stefani (sh*t was 🍌🍌). Over the course of my tenure, I regularly traveled to China handling, learning the in's and out's of product development.  It was one of the most memorable, character making times of my life  and now feels like a lifetime ago.

All good things must come to an end and I made the career pivot to user experience design to work on digital products. I have worked for small startups to fortune 500 hundred companies. I love solution-ing, designing +  and collaborating with cross functional partners. I understand how great design builds user loyalty, pushes the business forward and makes space for more exploration. I'm passionate about leading people, skill sharing and driving team culture. One of the best things about design is that is is always changing and there is always something new to learn.

‍Things I like - nachos, laughing, vanilla frosted raised donuts, traveling, sneakers, mezcal cocktails & cats.

Things I don't like - cold weather, spiders, ranch dressing, sweet relish & thunderstorms.

Happily based in LA, living life with my spouse, son, pug dog(s) and cat babies.

If I could be anywhere right now, it would be on the beach in St. Tropez... spritz in hand
